After 20 terrific seasons, Kenilworth Lacrosse bids a fond farewell to Chip Kenyon, Kenilworth Lacrosse’s founder. You will see him at the occasional game - his spirit will always be present.

Chip launched Kenilworth Lacrosse to give local boys an opportunity to learn to play lacrosse alongside their classmates. As a high-school, collegiate and post-collegiate athlete, Chip loved to compete and to win. His dedication and competitive spirit were unmistakable as the head of Kenilworth Lacrosse and the 8th grade coach, yet he focused on skill development, teaching the importance of team work, always reinforcing the ideas of sportsmanship, and most importantly, creating an environment in which kids could gain confidence on and off the field.

As we look ahead, Kenilworth Lacrosse remains committed to providing the premier youth lacrosse experiences on Chicago’s North Shore. Our spring season is the cornerstone of the program. Kenilworth Lacrosse fields teams at the U10, U12, and U14 levels and competes in the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association, providing players with a fun, challenging, and competitive environment. We offer off-season clinics and training opportunities to introduce new players to the sport while helping experienced athletes sharpen their skills and elevate their game.

Unlike other local programs, Kenilworth Lacrosse rosters teams by grade. This allows kids to team-up with friends throughout their days of youth lacrosse and beyond when many play at New Trier or Loyola Academy.
